As Goldstar Windows begins its 15th year in operation, we reflect on some of our hard work and key accomplishments that have gotten us to this point. While we’ve spent years devoted to installing windows in the West Midlands and the South West, we’ve prioritised staying small to give our customers that personal touch.
For us it’s never been about completing as many installation jobs as possible, we focus more on providing a high-quality and affordable service to the community. Throughout our 15 years, we’ve remained local to offer our customers the best in bespoke solutions for orangeries, conservatories and window replacements.
Looking back on some of our success, it’s amazing to think we started back in 2010 and opened our first showroom in Ludlow a year later. So how did we reach this 15 year milestone? Let’s look back on some of our notable moments as a company.
January 2010 Goldstar Windows started
Goldstar Windows didn’t just open overnight. This was the culmination of many years of hard work in the industry. We started from the ground up, going all the way back to 1988, when our founder Noel was learning about the fabrication and installation of aluminium and uPVC windows and doors.
Opened first showroom in Ludlow 2011
Our progression continued into the following year by opening our first showroom in Ludlow. It’s where we proudly showcase our premium products and help customers looking to update their home. Our showroom has been helpful for our customers to see window configurations up close and visualise how they will appear in their home.
New website launched in 2012
We expanded by providing our clients with a website that’s easy to navigate and, most importantly, provides a convenient way for customers to get in touch with our friendly team.
2013 started installing for a leading property developer
In 2013 we had a big year; we started installing doors and windows and completing commercial projects for SevenCapital, a leading property developer in the UK. These installations took place in Kidderminster and Stafford, further expanding our reach.
2014-2016 Tenbury Wells, Leominster and new projects in Malvern
From 2014 to 2016 we continued growing and servicing new locations such as Tenbury Wells and Leominster. Our reputation continued to grow, and we expanded to installing new build projects for developers in Malvern.
Installations began for major nursing home group 2017
The momentum carried over into 2017, when we were contracted to provide installations for a major nursing home group. As part of this project, we completed installations for nursing homes throughout Worcestershire, Birmingham and Leicester that require the security and comfort provided by our triple-glazed windows.
Completed projects in Stourbridge, Cheltenham and Hereford 2018-2021
We continued our work with developers throughout these years, including the Bell and Alexander house in Stourbridge, further expanding our customer outreach.
New products introduced in 2022-2023
In our effort to continue providing customers with high-quality home improvement options, we introduced new products such as modern FlushSash windows, a new aluminium range and durable composite doors.
Our biggest website redesign to date
Creating a new website to further improve the customer experience. Our website provides valuable information about the locations we serve, as well as our design and installation services. Sherbet Donkey provided us with a website where customers can easily learn all about the benefits associated with our wide range of products.
What’s ahead in 2025
We have many plans for 2025, including the possibility of opening a showroom in Kidderminster. While we continue to expand in the locations we already serve, we remain a small business to offer each customer individualised care and attention with every project. Regardless of what lies ahead, we continue to pride ourselves on the attention to detail we put forth in every project, offering potential customers a no-pressure approach and letting our work speak for itself, after all it’s gotten us this far.
